Rules
Auction
- Each manager is given £40 million
as a starting budget before their leagues auction.
- Every manager then has to build
their full squad including subs for no more than £25 million.
- A squad consists of 1 keeper,
2 fullbacks, 2 centre-halfs, 4 mid-fielders & 2 strikers, you also
have space for 4 subs from any section you prefer.
- The auction begins with a nominated
manager who starts the bidding for a player, in a clockwise motion the
next manager decides if he would like to bid for that player or not.
Bids work in £500,000's, once no other manager wants the player the
last manager who bid for the player now has him for their squad.
- You are only allowed 2 players
from any club.
- Once all managers have completed
their squads you then need to fill in your team sheet and pass to your
league chairman.
- If you have any funds left over
they are carried over with another £10 million to last you the whole
season.
During season
- Substitutions
- can be made at any time by all managers.
- Transfers
- Transfers can only be performed by the chairman. Sealed bids are the only way for a manager to buy a player from the pool. The deadline each week is 7.30pm on a Thursday. More sealed bid rules can be found at the sealed bid section of your league.
- Formation - The only formation allowed is a 4-4-2, if a manager plays a different format for a duration of matches they lose any extra points accumulated.
- Meetings - If a
player is being bid for on the board and is still inside the time ruling
when a meeting occurs, that players bidding goes back to zero and bidding
starts again. If no-one is interested in that player at the meeting
the board bidding continues as normal.
- Transfer deadline day
is - no more transfers between managers are allowed after this date.
- Ties - In the event
of a draw occurring the winner is decided by the following route - goals
scored, assists, clean sheets, goals against & finally toss of a
coin. FA Cup - one replay will take place for drawn matches, then the normal rules apply.
- Manager of the month awards
- every manager who has entered this pays £1 per week with the league
winner for each month receiving the total amount collected for each
league.
- Manager of the year award
- every manager who has entered this pays a one off - £10 with the league
winner receiving a predetermined amount.
Promotion &
relegation
- For season 03/04
- the bottom two placed teams in the premier league will be relegated
to division1, with the top two teams in division1 will be promoted to
the premier league. The bottom team in division1 will be required to
write a letter for reapplying for the following season.
- For season 03/04
- a playoff will occur
between the team sitting in 6th position in the Premier league and 3rd
place in the first division at the end of the season. The points total
for each team compiled on the last day of the season decides who goes
up or goes down. Normal rules apply in a drawn match.
